Who is Atanya L. Hayes?

Hey there family and friends!  

This is my first year at L. Hollingworth School for the Talented and Gifted.  I will be teaching 7/8 Grade Science. I am honored to be given the opportunity to work here.  I'm in my fifth year as an Educator. During my five years as an Educator, I have been fortunate to gain experience teaching grades 1-12, and I have worked as an Intervention Specialist.  My educational background includes a Master in Education, Special Education with a Post Secondary Transition to Work Endorsement. Working with children is the greatest "feel good" job ever!  I am so happy that I decided to take this path to stand as the vanguard of educating our children.  It truly takes a village.  I am looking forward to a great school year, and being a strong advocate for educating our students while assisting them in reaching their full potential.
