Welcome to 5th & 6th grade ELA
My name is Mrs. Jobin and I am the 5th and 6th grade English Language Arts teacher. So what does that mean exactly? It means that throughout the year we will be working together to create an amazing reading and writing environment for your student. This is my ninth year teaching and I am excited to start this year off right.
In class, we read for 30 minutes every day! Sometimes we even read online on a great website called GetEpic.com (class code is rje9966). Check out our classroom page!

Remember reading homework is due every week! Students should be bringing home a reading log to be signed every night. Students will be expected to read 30 minutes every night at home.
